Jasper the Dog needs a home
I’m Jasper. I love people, particularly those who give me massages, feed me, and let me snooze really close to them. I bring new meaning to the term "Velcro dog." Perhaps that’s because life wasn’t very kind to me before I was rescued. I was found in horrific condition – emaciated and covered in head wounds. Some nice people cleaned me up and began feeding me a quality diet. In return, I lavished love and gratitude on them. I currently live with 3 canine kids as well as 4 human kids (ranging in age from 15 down to 2.5) and get along famously with everyone. I walk nicely on a leash and put my business in its proper place. I’m not a super energetic guy. I’m happiest curled up as close as possible to my human companions. My needs are simple; a house full of soft beds, people who like snuggles, and yummy treats. Could my new life be with you? In return, you can count one very devoted doggie!

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers and we require a home check for each of our adoptable pets prior to them going to their new homes, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family further than 60 miles from Charlotte is responsible for finding a representative of a rescue local to them that is willing to perform the home check. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as the application is approved.***
